      I sat on my knees, a cup of hot-tea cupped in my hands in my lap, my heavy (hair!color) hair tied back and draped over one shoulder. I wore a baby pink kimono and sat under one of Kiku's cherry trees that he loved so much, hoping my brother China would not notice me and find some reason to get me in trouble and hurt me again.
      My arm was already wrapped up from the wrist to the elbow from his anger, I didn't want to have to wrap anymore than that. It was always so...well obviously painful.I gazed around Kiku's garden, he had all the countries over, his way of a party I guess, I knew he was only trying to be more sociable. I was absorbed in thoughts, so I didn't even realize Kiku when he sat by me, neither of us registering the other. I was more unnoticeable than Canada sometimes.
      Kiku turned his head in my direction, nearly jumping a couple feet in the air noticing me. "Ah! __________-san! I didn't notice you there..." I snapped my head around, startled.
"Oh, it's okay Kiku-san.." I smiled shyly to the raven-haired country. He was adorable, but I'd never been able to tell him what I thought of him in fear of China figuring out I was making potential allies and hurting me worst than ever.
      Kiku smiled sweetly at me, "The brossoms are beautifur today.."
"Yeah.." I whispered, picking up a small blossom that had fallen to the ground and holding it gingerly. I stroked my finger tips over the petals, until a small breeze blew by and swept it from my hand, I sighed.
      Japan suddenly took my hand a set another cherry blossom in it. "Now it is three times as beautifur..." He smiled, I blushed heavily, smiling st him shyly.
"A-arigato.." I blushed, Kiku's eyes widened, and before I could ask why I was yanked back by my collar.
"What you doing aru?" China growled, locking one arm around my waist in a seemingly-brotherly way to anyone who wasn't hearing the direct context. "No socializing aru!"
"B-but brother~"
"No! When we get home, you be punished aru!" He let go of me, shoving me slightly so I fell to me knees. "Come Russia.."
      I hid my face in my knees, wanting all China's hate to just go away, so things would be like they were before he was so..so...evil..
"___________-san?" Japan whispered, appearing by my side. "China terrs me what he does..." he stroked my hair gently, trying awkwardly to comfort me. "I wish I courd do more...I..I.." He took a rather large brezth. "Ashiteru..."
      I looked up wide eyed, my knowledge of the Japanese language told me what it meant, fire burned on my cheeks. "Ashiteru Kiku.." I whispered, praying China wouldn't hear.
"Come..." Japan whispered, helping me up and leading me inside. He sat me down on a pillow and disappeared into the kitchen, coming back with fresh tea and a small plate of pocky. He sat across from me, setting the items on the small table between us. "__________. I wourd rike...for you to become mine..."
"Wh-what do you mean?"
"I rove you, __________, and I don't want China to hurt you anymore... if you become mine... He'rr have to answer to me before he does anything...and if he does something without my consent... I wirr kirr him.." I stared at Kiku, a small smile forming on my lips.
"Ashiteru..Kiku.." I whispered, he grinned, I'd never seen him show much emotion, but right now he wasn't covering anything up.
"May.. I have your permission... to truery..make you mine?"
"H-hmm???"
"I want... to make you.. MINE." A blush formed on his cheeks, he moved around closer to me, cupping my face in his hands. "And mine arone.."
     Now I knew what he meant, and this was coming from the man who couldn't stand any form of affection in public. Then again... we weren't in public right now.
"Granted.." I whispered, he grinned more.
"Arigato.."
