World Affairs- GreeceXReader- chapt. 1

This is my second time writing this, damned computer.


     I yawned loudly, trying to make my presence known in the loud, extremely inappropriately voiced World Meeting. My country, Greece, slept peacefully in the corner, his gentle breathing causing his hair to fly up randomly. I smiled, he was so cute.
     I suddenly had to dodge one of England's scones, I stood up swiftly and smashed my hands on the table. I was two weeks sleep deprived, even one day sleep was torture to a Greek, but two weeks? I wasn't having the bullshit today.
"LISTEN UP!" I screamed, being raised by Japan and China, I didn't like to raise my voice very much, I coughed once and continued. "Since none of you can act like a decent bunch of adults I have no choice but to treat you like children. Each person will start with an eight minute speech, if you want to comment you must calmly raise your hand but not so in a way to insult to Germany's past. Got it? no side deal conversations, interrupt and I will personally sick Russia, or worse, Belarus on you. GOT IT?"
"yes ma'am." Chorused through the room in a variety of accents, I nodded stiffly.
"I will go first. The Olympics planning will have to be rescheduled, I apologize, but the riots in Greece are beginning to weigh down on our shoulders. Rioters have completely taken control of my city, Athens, and have decided to storm out houses and steal from our markets. Planning will not continue until we have a better handle on the matter. Yes, America?"
"Why don't you let the HERO!, me, come save you from your evil rioters?"
"Ohonhon~America you just want to lovely Athens all to yourself!" France but in.
"Hey she's pretty hot but jeez France~"
"ENOUGH~!"I yelled, smashing my fist onto the table once more. "America I can handle this well enough on my own, thank you, and France that was uncalled for. Who's next? Italy? Go."
"Paaaaaaaaastaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
"Very good. Next."
    And that's basically how the entire meeting went. Afterwards, I dismissed everyone and went to the corner to fetch Greece. "Greece..? Wake up...we're leaving.."
"Oh...hai _______," He still hadn't gotten used to calling me Athens. "Time to go..? But I was having the best dream.."
"You can tell me all about it on the way." I smiled, he was so cute! Ah. The brunette man had me wrapped around his fingers and he didn't even know it. typical.

~later that day~

"______, you should go up to get some rest..." Greece whispered, sitting next to me on the couch, well, more like he was laying on me, his head in my lap. I had been doing paperwork for the last couple hours, not taking any breaks, my neck was killing me.
"No no, Herc, I need to finish."
"No, you don't." Greece grumbled. "You're always cranky, come nap." He yawned, throwing me over his shoulder as if it were nothing. I groaned and hit his back, he responded simply by tugging the small double curl I had on the back of my head. I went limp and stopped grumbling immediately, Greece smiled at his seeming victory.
     Literally the minute he dropped me onto his bed and wrapped his arms around my torso I passed out. For some reason, not only Greece's scent but also his personality, and physical being made me exhausted. I cuddled into him, all worry about the paperwork fleeing my mind as I caught up a few sleeping hours with the cats, and Greece of course.
